Basic Information

This Page shows you how to configure Windows 95/98 on your own desires. It also introduces you in using the most, on our opinion, powerful tool of Windows 95/98: the Registry Editor, by giving some hints to ease your work and "furnish" your desktop.

We intend to enlarge it on our own and YOUR experience. For comments an suggestions mail us!

Changings in the Registry may cause Problems! To prevent trouble be sure to backup your system-configuration using Confback.exe (on your Windows 95/98-CD), or, after making the fault, renaming System.da0 and User.da0 (Backup Files) to dat-extensions.

WARNING: The authors of this page do NOT take any responsibility for any damage on your system!

NOTE: For some change of settings to take effect it is necessary to reboot your system.
